I've always been one of the luckiest guys on earth. I've been associated with San Juan special education in six decades and have worked for them in five. I came to the LeGette campus twenty plus years ago not knowing anything about it. Little did I know that I was entering into the finest community in the district.

Being the Resource Specialist at LeGette is the plumb job in the district and I'm thankful for it every day. My favorite thing about teaching is inventing new techniques and watching them work (most of the time). Some of my best friends in the world are the people that I work alongside every day. I've been lucky to work with outstanding teachers, administrators, assistants, students and parents.

Away from school, I am blessed beyond belief by my wife and two children. We enjoy traveling, going to concerts, plays and sporting events, reading and playing with our dogs. I love my job, but am starting to see retirement loom in in the future and am looking ahead to that life event. Who knows what lies ahead. I can't wait to find out. Like I said, I'm a lucky guy.
