Janice KuroKawa, 4th grade
Hello. My name is Janice KuroKawa and this is a great school. I love teaching 4th grade. Missions and science are fun to teach.
I reside in Folsom with my husband and Scottish Terrier Keenan. I have two daughters and three grandchildren. In my prior life I worked for the County Probation Department for over 20 years. After substituting at all grade levels for Folsom/Cordova, S.J. Unified and the Sacramento County Office of Education, I taught Kindergarten at Starr King. I continue to look forward to teaching 4th grade at LeGette each year.
I teach because I love to watch children enjoy learning. I love to integrate art throughout the curriculum. I believe that learning involves a true partnership between the teacher, the parents and the students.
