Debbie Smith, Art Specialist Teacher My name is Debbie Smith and I am currently the art specialist teacher at LeGette. My job is the best one in the whole district because I get to teach art to all the students here from grades 1-6! It's great to work with students and staff who care about the arts along with all the other subjects that students learn. Whenever we are drawing, painting, or sculpting students are always THINKING, too. Students think about culture, history and careers while they are engaged in the creaative process. I currently live in the foothills, but have grown up in the Sacramento area, attending CSU, Sacramento. My husband's name is Rocky and my daughter's name is Lauren. We are an active on-the-go family since my daughter participates in competitive fastpitch softball and her dad coaches her. Some of the people we see in our travels are former students of LeGette!
